Inverness Slaters Ltd was established in 1963 as a firm of roofing contractors. Although many prestigious contracts have been carried out in the town centre - for example Eden Court Theatre, The Eastgate Shopping Centre, the Crematorium, B&Q, MFI and Sterling - there are numerous other places we have worked, including Shetland, the Western Isles, Skye, Canna, Mull and all over the Highland mainland.

We are now predominately involved in the private market. However, we do specialise in all types of slating works (no matter what the size!) from re-roofing an old mansion house to dealing with the daily problem of a domestic roof leak.

We also carry out tiling; flat roofing; rough casting and profile sheeting works. A growing area of work for us is the re-roofing of agricultural buildings, in profile sheeting, giving the occupier a new low cost roof with virtually no maintenance, instead of the annual check-up and constant repairs involved with a traditionally covered roof.
